The Role
The placement was really enjoyable due to the challenge it posed. Working with such a great team who helped me come out of my shell and I enjoyed the opportunity.
With the company being a small business I was always in contact with my peers and managers who mentored and taught me a lot. They were always supportive no matter what happened in work and even outside of work.
My manager was always there for me when I needed her. She always liked to here from me and would help me with everything even personal issues.
Constantly busy. As I am a determined individual themail days went really quick as I was approaching customers and engaging in conversation whenever I got the chance.
As a representative I was responsible for my store. Which allowed me to make an impact and gave me a sense of responsibility which was rewarding when I and the store did well.
This job without a shadow of doubt developed my charisma and brought me out of my shell. As a trainee PE teacher charisma is something I needed and through talking to customers all day it developing my communicational skills.
The Company
Light hearted and relaxed. They didn't apply any pressure to myself or anyone else.
Responce emails were very quick and there was constant talk between myself and the managers. Which meant that I was always able to find out what was going on.
I was brought along to many different training sessions which were all over the country. The trusted in me enough to invite me around the country to attend the meetings with some of the biggest people in the company.

Because of the size of the company they did let me know that there are opportunities to climb the ranks within the business.
The Culture
Other pupils were keen to find out more about orbitsound and what they did.
Trains for travel were usually under £5 depending on the day. I lived at home so apart from travel costs there wasn't much else required. Socialising in my area cost anywhere from £10-£60 usually.
In the Liverpool area the nightlife is always good no matter what day it is.
Lots of sports centres and activities to be involved in. Yes
