The Role
The time I spent working at Orbitsound was always enjoyable and rewarding. The challenges, the staff, the products all made it a great place to work.
All the time. Due to the size of the company everyone gets to know everyone which made it really easy to be known in the business. Everyone valued each others determination in wanted to work together for Orbitsound. My manager and peers were all extremely helpful and were always willing to help where needed. I never felt that hard work didn't pay off, since you were rewarded for work and effort you put in.
The weekly calls and regular meetings always helped in supporting us and giving us guidance in how we can sell more. My manager was always willing to listen to everyone's opinion and would give us the support we needed.
You are constantly selling. I can't remember the last time I was not busy selling! You had the time to sell but also the time to relax. It was the perfect working balance.
I was given great responsibility very early on which was great. Being given the opportunity to develop my skills more and train other representatives showed that your skills at Orbitsound are not ignored. I was also given opportunity to work at the exhibitions.
The skills I gained at Orbitsound has helped me tremendously. It has given me the ability to communicate with people you do not know. It gave me the confidence boost in being able to negotiate and develop personal skills. All the skills you learn at Orbitsound will help in anything. If there were other skills you wanted to develop, the managers are always willing to do what they can to help.
The Company
The atmosphere was always great. You make great friends and working relationships with the stores that you work in. This always made it a really fun environment to work in. When working at the office, everyone is there to work but also to ensure that the day is enjoyable.
Very organised, from the point of applying, working at stores, office and then exhibitions showed that the set up and company were organised.
There were weekly meetings and also regular region meetings and team building events. These were great opportunities to learn and develop the skills required to be better at the role.
