The Role
I really enjoyed my internship. Overall I felt that I was given a lot of responsibility and the team atmosphere was great.
I felt completely valued by my colleagues, whenever I completed a task for them they were always extremely appreciative of anything I had done regardless of how small the task was.
I was given lots of support by my team. I felt that I could ask questions to any member of my team no matter how small they were. Outside of my team the talent acquisition team were a great point of contact and they regularly scheduled meetings with the interns to check how everything was going.
How busy I was completely varied throughout the 8 weeks. Some weeks I found I was extremely busy, especially in the last few weeks, however, at other times it was quieter. I could always ask my team for more tasks if I found I wasn't busy enough.
My responsibilities increased throughout my 8 weeks.
The Company
The general atmosphere in the office was great, there was a really fun and positive atmosphere at all times.
I felt that the firm invested a lot of time in training throughout. In addition The internship started with two days of training and ended on a final day to recap what we had learnt.
The Culture
The social scene amongst interns was very much self organised.
Drinks were relatively expensive, but normal London prices.
