The Role
I enjoyed the atmosphere in the company and got on well with my team
I felt very welcome when I arrived and I felt like I was trusted with responsibilities
My boss taught me how to use Git and the team helped me to brush up on my Python and coding skills on the job.
I was busy most days, but I got the balance just right.
I was trusted to set up my own equipment and deal with the hardware in the testing rigs. I was also trusted with automating an important part of the system.
Git will be really useful and my programming skills have greatly improved.
The Company
It was a really friendly but focussed atmosphere.
I had a long project but it kept me busy most of the time. There were times where I was unsure of how to proceed but in the end it was fine.
I was taught Git and given other technical training on the job
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I would like to come back once I finish my degree. It would be a good place to start my career in technology.
The Culture
We used to eat lunch together and occasionally have drinks. We also ran a Mario Kart 64 tournament together at lunchtimes to raise money for charity.
London is really expensive in the centre; however I am a local and I live in Southeast London so I knew cheaper places to go to nearby.
Good but expensive.
There was Monday night football and running club. Also, we got the opportunity to come in for the Charity Shield final and watch it in 4K.
