The Role
The internship was very enjoyable with a great work culture
The nature of intern projects meant the work done often felt separate from the work others did. Despite this, I got on well with all my colleagues
The work was allowed to be mostly self-directed, with semi-regular check-ins from my supervisor.
I tended not to be very busy
I was assigned an intern project and had full responsibility over it. Aside from this, I was often involved in meetings with other teams and companies, and occasionally led activities. However, responsibility rarely extended outside of my own work or occasionally aiding other employees
The Company
The atmosphere was great and very chill
Everything common to all interns was well organised, but anything specific to interns tended to vary in its organisation between teams
There were no specific personal training or development opportunities, but plenty of time allocated for this to be pursued individually
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
An informal offer was extended
The Culture
I got on well with both my fellow interns and my colleagues, frequently also socialising outside of work
The office is in central London and therefore very expensive
standard London nightlife
