    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I was a Summer Intern last year and decided to come back for another summer. My motivation to come back was driven, in part because of the great relationship I had with my boss, in part because of the interesting project I was going to be working on. When you get the luxury of having both, you're bound to have a good experience.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • 4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The project I worked on was closely related to the subject-area I would like to get into in the future. So clearly, the skills I developed and the "training I received" were of value to me.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Awesome atmosphere at the office. The people I interacted with were respectful, kind and generally just fun to be with. You can definitely sense the "open-culture" when you come into the office.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • 4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Pretty expensive area, but still very fun. Located right in the centre of London, it's quite easy to get around meet-up with some friends after work.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • 3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Played some 5-a-side football every Monday. Had some good fun. It's also an opportunity to meet people from other teams and just socialise.

    4/5
