The Role
Overall, the internship was a great experience. The people who work there were great to work with and the work I did was good.
I felt like my word was taken with some weight, and my manager would have meetings often with me to hear my experiences.
The code review process was great for getting used to best practices. If I wanted to know about a certain thing my colleagues were there willing to explain it to me.
Some days I was really busy, some days I wasn't busy at all. It depends on whether you're waiting on others to complete their work first before you can continue your own.
I was allowed to pick up whatever work I wanted, and the work I've done will be used in the company's system for next few years.
I will be more knowledgeable about certain technologies if i need to use them in the future. It also helps to see how certain theoretical topics are used in the industry.
The Company
Can't fault the atmosphere. Everyone was very chill and chatty, felt like a place where everyone was friendly to one another.
We had certain group tasks such as doing a charity event, but the rest seemed to rely more on your department so it's a case by case situation.
YouDay was a great way of learning new technologies or information that happening every two weeks.

Working from home
It seems like a great place for people passionate about helping customers get an amazing experience, using technologies that are very much at the forefront of the industry.
The Culture
There was a good group of us that would get lunch together, play table football, and go for drinks after work.
You get what you expect to be honest. London is great, but it is always going to expensive.
It's London so you can go anyway to be honest. It's most likely going to be expensive though.
We had five-a-side football every monday which was great fun.
