The placement has enhanced my skills and knowledge on different key software packages which I use at university. I feel more confident using the software as colleagues offered me feedback on the work I had done allowing me to understand the task at hand a lot clearer. I really enjoy the event! I do gained a lot of information above online searching at home. And the mock assessment process is pretty much useful, that gave me a clear view of what is the real process look like, and I will more clear that how to prepare.
IT Placement - Really good scope of work, constantly review the workload / work plan to adjust to your interests. Allows you to pick up other work and potentially drop some work if you dislike. Gained really good experience. I assure you you will not regret applying for this placement and going through the interview process.
I could not have anticipated the huge opportunities available to you as an Intern in SAP. I am elated to be part of a company who not only values the development of their Early Talent, but also work tirelessly to ensure they have a fun, and full experience throughout the year.
I cannot express how much I enjoyed my placement year at SAP. I had an incredible year and learnt so much about the industry and my function. I would recommend SAP to anybody that wishes to work for an organisation that have a genuine passion for developing early talent.
It was a great experience to be involved with SAP. You are given the opportunity to be involved in some exciting projects and are trusted to deal with important tasks. The placement offered really good exposure to the Industry and amazing networking opportunities. There is a huge intern community at SAP and there was the opportunity to learn from the other interns and get support aswell. Placements at SAP are perfect for people who really want to push themselves and the most important thing is to make the most of the opportunities given to you, because there are so many!
My internship was very structured around what I enjoyed. Both my team and manager were very understanding in this way and threw every opportunity that they thought were best fitted to me, at me. This enabled me to showcase what I was good at, provide value to the business and enjoy myself throughout
I had an incredible time in the Presales team at SAP. I learnt a phenomenal amount, developed new and existing skills and made countless connections inside and outside SAP. We had structured support but at the same time were given the opportunity to focus large amounts of our time where we wished.
I enjoyed the placement to a large extent as I experienced working in a corporate environment for the first time. The benefits that came with the role in this company were amazing (free lunch/fundraising opportunities/free mobile phone and laptop etc.) The responsibilties that came with the role made me feel like a full-time employee, and I felt like I was part of a huge community. I enjoyed being able to have opportunities like fundraising with other interns, as it was a new experience for me. Having 40 or so other interns in the company really allowed me to enjoy working as there were others whom I could relate to as they were in the same position as me. As I took on reponsibilities like a full-time employee, I did find myself feeling overwhelmed at times with workloads and balancing my tasks. When other interns were on leave, I had to take over their responsibilities and it was challenging trying to manage multiple meetings each day, whilst also completing tasks within strict deadlines. Overall I really enjoyed the placement though as it gave me a very realistic outlook of the corporate world, and I feel I have improved as a person, as well as acquire further skills for the future.
My role within SAP resulted in me having a large level of responsibility. I enjoyed this aspect as I felt I contributed to the business. Throughout the year I feel I have developed massively as an individual and will be a lot stronger when applying to jobs after I graduate
My placement, over the past 13 months has been very enjoyable. The placement has given me the opportunity to work alongside a global leadership team, giving me insight into the business world beyond the UK, which directly relates to my degree. The role itself has been very flexible which has allowed me to shape the role to my personal preference and area of interest.
I have really enjoyed my year at SAP and will look to apply to the academy scheme when I graduate. The office is a friendly and welcoming place with lots of benefits like a free lunch, games room, massage room etc. I was given the opportunity to take on a lot of responsibility and work with customers and partners. Three monthly reviews and targets meant that I was constantly being pushed to improve and develop.
