  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I manage communications for the region, which includes; designing email templates, creating content and supporting regional leaders. I also plan and organise the quarterly events for up to 500 people.

  • I developed my attention to detail, check, double check and check again! Knowing that hundreds of people would be reading and viewing my content put a lot of pressure on me which meant that I triple checked everything.

  • I was given a lot of creative freedom and encouraged to come up with my own ideas and think outside the box.

  • There was a month handover period between the existing and incoming Intern so I was provided with a lot of support. I was then introduced to a "buddy/mentor" and have a day to day manager as well as a line manager to go to when struggling.

  • The atmosphere is very supportive, you are encouraged to be yourself and be creative.
