  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Thoroughly enjoyable due to the professional, friendly work colleagues that allowed great involvement within the company.

  • To a very high extent without the loss of a professional working environment,

  • Management/supervisors were always accessible and approachable.

  • Work loads varied depending on the day to day or week to week demand of spontaneous reaction to the placement area. Certain periods of time were extremely busy, while others(most) were perfectly balanced.

  • Great responsibility was given including management of group events and management of individual investigations of importance.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Organisation skills improved tremendously.

  • A busy environment with lots going on.

  • The placement was organised by the human resources department (as expected). The supportive department organised the whole year very well.

  • Everything necessary for the placement was invested upon.

  • Very good prospects for all employees to work up the hierarchy.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes, good team building skills were carried out during induction weeks.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Luckily, I lived at home with a short commute. The area is cheap to live in overall.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Very poor. A commute to local cities/towns is recommended. (A £15 taxi)

  • Yes, such as football leagues etc.
