  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

    • Analysing aerodynamic data with the aid of MATLAB and scripts. Working as part of a team and fulfilling requests from the team in how they would like the data to be compared. Designing and testing propeller designs with the help of CAD and simulation software.

    • I have developed my teamwork skills as well as my technical experience in engineering. My MATLAB skills has gone from extremely basic to very confident. My presentation skills have improved as-well.

    • I was in charge of comparing wind tunnel test data so I had to make sure that I didn’t make any errors because my boss trusted my work.

    • Very chilled out. It was a comfortable office with a good vibe and great people who were more than happy to teach you and support you.

    • I really enjoyed getting to know the team. It was a fascinating introduction to engineering and it has made me sure that engineering is what I want to do for a career
