  • Role involves the mechanical design and electronic packaging of power and avionics products. Work day to day varies, including design work using Siemens NX, team meetings, hand-on product/prototype assembly, Analysis using Ansys, production of mechanical drawings.

  • Yes. Responsible for some elements of the design of real products, and produced drawings for parts which I saw manufactured.

  • Friendly, supportive, encouraging. General atmosphere quite relaxed, since projects are so big and many people involved there is always people there to ask for support.
