    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I work on moving non-conforming units through retests, as well as managing production lines by either creating projects to reduce defects occuring or by providing them with the correct tools to make their lives as easy as possible. I also would complete emergency jobs, as well as running data investigations to check the efficiency of the area.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I have developed my time management and communication/ public speaking skills. I was also given further training regarding lean six sigma and defect reduction techniques which helped in understanding how to both find areas of concern and correct it. I have also learnt the value of focus and dedication, as often that is the reason why a project succeeds
