  • If I ever needed help or had questions then my people manager and buddy would always be willing to assist me.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • In the first few weeks I didn't have much work to do so at times found it very boring, however the last couple of weeks I've been kept busy and had just the right amount of work to do.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was involved in many different kinds of work with a good amount of responsibility. I didn't have much client interaction, but that is expected for an intern.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have developed excellent skills during the internship such as presentation skills, communication, teamwork, and time management. I have also gained massive experience in Excel and more technical aspects relating to pensions. This will all be extremely useful for working in a full time job.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Very friendly but at the same time professional and people were focussed on their work.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The internship ran very smoothly with an induction course at the start, followed by progress reviews with my people manager and a presentation at the end. Only flaw would be the lack of work at the beginning.
