  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I felt very supported throughout the internship. I was assigned a intern manager who I met with on a weekly basis for a catch up. I also had a project manager who I met with regularly to discuss the progress of my project and any issues I had.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • At first I wasn't very busy but this was expected. With time I was given more work from the team and a project to complete meaning I always had something to do. The workload was never overwhelming and team members who gave me work always made sure I had time to complete it.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I felt like Hymans Robertson invested a lot into the internship which allowed me to experience what being a graduate in the company is like. I was invited to multiple Skype training sessions which were very interesting and allowed me to learn about other areas of the business. A lot of my learning was from doing work for team members who always explained it in detail and were happy to help with any queries I had.
