The Role
I can have very few complaints about my time at the Keystone Group. The position allowed me to experience a variety of roles which allowed me to develop myself both personally an professionally.
I felt that I became a valued member of the team during my placement and have gained not only colleagues but friends.
I can't fault either of my line managers throughout my periods spent with them. They allowed me to work independently but also provided any guidance or support when requested without hesitation.
As in any role there are times when you are busier and times when there is a lull, but on the whole I was kept busy
I was given a number of projects to undertake that I worked independently on that are still in place at my time of leaving. Also day to day roles I wasn't being watched over my shoulder.
I feel I have gained many skills from this role which can be applied both in a wide field and specific to my degree.
The Company
There was normally a lively atmosphere. People are working hard but I very rarely felt bored.
There was some confusion on my arrival of specifically which job role I would be undertaking but from this point on there was no other issues.
I was involved in a few training seminars periodically throughout my placement.
Having been asked to stay on until I returned to university and having felt valued during my time I would be happy to return if there was a position availabe.
The Culture
There are fairly regular nights out within the workplace
Fairly cheap area to live with some variety of activities and social area to visit.
Reasonable selection of bars, pubs and clubs.
Occasional emails are sent around offering sports, charitable and other fun activities.
