The Role
I enjoyed my work placement immensely. From day one I was made to feel very welcome and given challenging and rewarding tasks which allowed me to gain a greater appreciation of what life after my degree involves.
I felt hugely valued by my colleagues. From brainstorming sessions, to regular day-to-day office work, every idea or opinion I had was treated with the same respect as people who have been there for years.
Victoria was my Brand Manager and provided me with invaluable help throughout the year. She provided the perfect balance of teaching and letting me learn on my own. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to learn from,
I was never left with nothing to do. After my first month ended and I felt confident to contribute, they always trusted me with any task.
A lot more than I expected! They put a large amount of trust in all their placement students and I feel it is rewarded as it made me want to work harder for them. I feel the extra responsibility they gave me made it feel more like a graduate job than a placement!
I feel the job has taught me so much for my studies for final year. Learning extra tips that I would never have considered before. It has set me on the right path and I feel confident approaching my last year.
The Company
Great! Everyone was very friendly and always tried to keep everyone motivated. It was an environment where employees were encouraged to speak their mind and discuss ideas, no matter how silly we thought they were.
Brilliantly. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] in HR was a fabulous help and answered any and all questions I had promptly. From my placement interview I could tell that it was a professional company that promoted family values. I certainly felt part of the company family and couldn't have been happier about how it was set up.
I really felt like they placed a lot of time and effort in me. They give me opportunities to learn about programs I would would never get to learn otherwise like Microsoft Nav or Adobe Photoshop. The training was beneficial and allowed me to learn all about the product I was selling.

I would love to return to Keystone after my final year. They are a company which promote many of the values I believe in myself, so it makes working here a lot easier. I have been asked to stay on part-time for final year, an opportunity which I am relishing!
The Culture
It was great. We had more than a few nights out and enjoyed our time outside work together.
Cost of living was cheap, but I was living at home. Prices are generally lower than Belfast.
Plenty of nightclubs and bars in the town which are usually quite full on the weekends.
Keystone constantly provided activities outside work such as: - A trip to an Ulster Rugby game - Hell and Back 10K mud run - Chicago at the Grand Opera House - Go-Karting - Company run BBQs with free food and drink Plus many more
