The Role
It was really enjoyable, had a really good time and learnt so much about the marine industry and more.
I felt welcomed from the start, everyone was friendly and happy to help me.
Supervisor was always happy to help me, he even checked through my reports to make sure I was doing the right thing.
I always had work to do, but I never felt as if I had been given too much work.
I had to create two reports that would impact the progress of the project I was working on and potentially the way the organisation operates in the future.
I had to write reports and carry out a lot of research, the time spent on the reports will definitely help me in my degree and beyond.
The Company
Really good working atmosphere, everyone was doing their job or assisting others. Everyone was always happy to come over and help me out if I was stuck with something.
Very well organised.
They let me try out different software tools that were not directly part of my placement, which really helped me understand more engineering techniques.
Subsidised Canteen
Very very appealing.
The Culture
Everyone was very friendly.
