The Role
Enjoyed to the fullest, I have no hesitation in saying that this was of the best companies I have ever worked for.
A great group of people who I felt I really clicked with and could talk to any of them. Very friendly and approachable too, to start with I was worried about if people would be really uncooperative to me but everyone was great!
I worked under of the Senior Managers within the business, he was very supportive throughout my placement. I could easily approach him anytime I needed help with my work.
Astute operate in a target driven market, there is always a constant pressure on you deliver you target. But if you know what you are doing, you will have no problem keeping up with the work. If you are work shy or want a more relaxing placement this is not for you. In regards to me, I like challenges in life therefore this was exactly what I wanted.
Your personal target is always the main priority for you. Once you have hit your target, you can take part in numerous value add activities.
I believe having a good work experience on your CV is a big add on to your future job prospects. Astute taught me some very valuable skills that I would remember for life.
The Company
Great atmosphere. Really welcoming and friendly.
Very well organised, everything was clearly explained from the very first day.
It exponentially improve my communication skills, there is a lot to learn if you are willing to. Loads of training modules available for you to take, every week every month there is training session. If you need help in some particular subjects then you can always request one.

Future looks very bright from here on, the skills I have gained during my placement will certainly be very useful in the future.
The Culture
Good scene with colleagues but I am not entirely sure how all the other placement students felt during their placement time.
I manage to find a cheap flat just 5 five minutes walk away from, which was very convenient.
Workplace is really close to the city centre also near all the night clubs. Good nightlife, some nice clubs and bars around. Gets very busy during summer times.
Yes there is a lot to do outside working hours, to name a few...Bourneouth bay run, beach activities, games and a lot more.
