  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I am currently doing my placement at Astute and so far I am enjoying it a lot.

    • The culture here is like a family so very valued.

    • I got weekly support and guidance by my manager including what I was doing well and the steps required to improve.

    • Very busy but in order to hit your targets you have to be and helps with a work day flying by!

    • I was given complete responsibility within my first week after the initial training.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I developed my confidence, communication and critical thinking skills. These will be very helpful when doing projects for my final year at university and the communication skills I developed will benefit me for life.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Fun but pressurizing if you're not meeting your targets. The pressure was mainly put on myself by myself.

    • Well organised. Weekly reports and ongoing training sessions mean I always know what I need to improve on and what to do within my role.

    • A lot of training, help sheets and advice from the manager so a large extent.

    • Yes, there was always something going on.
