The Role
I think Mindshare is the ideal place to start your career, there is a lot of training and opportunities to develop professional skills. The people also make it a lovely environment to work in.
People in my team were very friendly and supportive, I felt like my opinions mattered when I delivered my work. It was nice to get continuous feedback throughout the year on my performance.
I was given enough to make me able to do the work, but there was room left my my personal growth and judgement which really helped me develop
Because I didn't work on one specific client, my days and weeks varied in terms of workload, but it was generally a very good balance.
Not a lot from the start, but once I felt confident about what I was doing I completely took over some of the monthly reports and was put in charge of smaller projects
I think the skills I have developed during my placement will absolutely help me in the future, both in my degree and career. The software skills in particular are invaluable.
The Company
There is a perfect balance between work and play, people in the office generally seem relaxed and optimistic. As long as you do what you're supposed to, work is a great place to be!
There was so much training going on each month! So many companies coming in to tell us about new tools, trends sessions, our inter-department show-and-tells, M factor (a week-long training programme), etc etc.. You get a lot of opportunities to learn new stuff.

Working from home
I would absolutely love to come back, and my manager said they would love to have me back once I've completed my degree.
The Culture
It was great, we had a whole bunch of new interns and grads starting at the same time, so work seemed a bit like uni in terms of socializing - one of the best things about this company are the people.
