The Role
Highly recommended. A great experience.
The team were so closeknit and tight that I felt very valued and I made it known to them that I valued them as much as they valued me.
I was required to attend a weekly meeting with my manager were we discussed my time at the company. I made a great relatonship with my manager and so I felt I could approach him if ever I needed to.
Work was constant and I felt that I couldn't ever stop working as I would get left behind and slow down the whole team.
I was asked to carry out reports and finalise data reports idependently which was a huge ask for a university student with little experience.
Perfect and relevant work experience.
The Company
The office is driven by working and at times it could get frustrating if you did want to chat or relax for a while.
Application to acceptance of placement was very quick and stressfree.
I was encouraged to go on many courses which I thought was the norm, until I talked to some friends who said that they hadn't been offered any to attend.
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
I am currently in the process of applying for a position there.
The Culture
I felt like I could talk to anyone.
Compared to my Northern roots, living in London was very expensive. Food and rent costs about twice as much in the capital which was a big shock when I first came down.
I did enjoy myself, but I think I prefer the north better. London at times seemed too crowded.
Nothing that I can remember, though I didn't make much effort to get involved.
