About You
gave me an insight into immigration law and how it works in practice
i was allowed to take inquiries from clients and sit it on interviews
the director of the company showed me what to do and how to do it
it helped me through my LPC in dealing with professional conduct issues and solicitor accounts
The Company
i did different things each day from writing letters to speaking to clients
some of the time it involved reading and other times i would sit in on interviews and watch how immigration law works in practice
this was just work experience and i did not get paid for it
they asked me to conduct day to day activities by witnessing days when the company would be busy and when they would not be
it was a small firm so there was not much insight
Everything Else
i decided that i wanted to be a solicitor as appose to a barrister
i met 2 other staff one who was training to become an immigration law specialist and the other was an american lawyer
there were none available
none were available
for those who really enjoy immigration law should take this opportunity to engage in this experience
