The Role
Work is always fun and enjoyable, if they feel you need to grow then they will challenge you and help you along
Everyone is extremely friendly, and will all ways help in any way they can
As I said every one is extremely friendly and will help in any way, this includes management
On a daily basis I have enough work to last, sometimes it will last a day and some times a month, once in a while you'll get a huge task (like I did) and be working on it most of your placement, which is nice
I felt like I had control over the projects I was creating/editing and even got asked wether anything i was working on impacted anything else, but it was never to the point where I thought I was "running" anything
I have learned a great deal of things that I will remember and have liked every second
The Company
Can be quiet, although many people prefer this while programming
First week introductions to everything, every other week was plain old work, seemed pretty organised and planned
They have helped me learn a lot of new things while working there and have a good helping of books which you can read and borrow
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
They are very appealing, working on a newer version of their current product sounds very exciting and I would think about going back
The Culture
Fortunately there was only one other student and he was my friend anyway so we got on really well
Have to say the area is a little expensive for my liking, but affordable
I guess it depends on where exactly you live in relation to where you work, but from a "close to work" standpoint I would look elsewhere if you're looking for a job close to any "nightlife"
There have been a few activities and events held outside company time and all have been great fun
