The Role
The placement was great, and it's a brilliant and friendly place to work.
Colleagues were constantly looking to me for advice or ideas.
If required, there was always available support for management.
The workload varied, with the load increasing as time progressed.
As time progressed I was allowed to take a lead role on some larger projects.
The placement taught me a large number of skills that were useful for my final year.
The Company
Great atmosphere with plenty of jokes and discussions going on.
It was fantastic, plenty of varied work to take on.
A lot of my personal development was done in between jobs, and others in the team were more than happy to help guide.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
They gave me a job before the placement had been completed.
The Culture
At least once a week there would be a trip after work to the pub, very social.
The rent & house prices were high, but c'est la vie.
There wasn't much, but not far from large cities.
Plenty of external activities available, mostly including team building.
