The Role
I very much enjoyed my placemeny year, This experience will set me up for my future career and will aid my final year at university.
I felt like valued member of each of the team I joined. As a placement at ketsight technologoies UK you are given the responsibility of a perminant employee.
Support is never lacking within Keysight, Manager check in meetings are held regularly, upon arrival you will get paired with a colleague with experience and whichever team you end up you will be welcomed into a supporting enviroment for you to progress and learn.
As any job, being busy can vary from day to day, Although overall I would say I was kept busy through each rotations daily responsibilites, and then added to this would be any extra projects that my manager and colleagues have given me to work on.
Plenty, I was given the role of technical suppport engineer and also the role of a Service and repair engineer, Whilst upon these rotations, targets are given as if I were a perminent employee in turn making me feel a valuble asset and member of the team.
I can use the knowledge within the test and mesurement industry when completing and testing my final year project, using keysight software and hardware!
The Company
