The Role
I settled in straight away due to having helpful motivating people around me who supported me and gave me the knowledge and development i needed to perform to the best of my ability
My colleagues gave me praise regularly motivating me to do well and supporting my every move, i also made some great friends who i would certainly stay friends with post placement
more often than not my managers supported me and gave me the right amount of guidance to do well and perform day in day out. Rarely did i find myself stranded not knowing what i was doing and not having someone to go to for support
Generally quite busy, time flew by because you always should be doing something and you know what you need to do each day you go into work
Equal responsiblity to all the other colleagues who work full time and aren't students. All agents whether placement or full time are treated as equals and looked after in the same way
i think the skills i have developed will help me in the future as my communication skills have certainly developed sufficiently especially by talking with senior decision makers of companies
The Company
atmosphere was generally quite upbeat, as long as the work gets done to a sufficient standard there was always time for the social aspect and to have a laugh together. Most people just got on with the job and and people were generally really friendly with always makes a better atmosphere in the work environment
it was actually pretty organised they like to look after their placement students and ensure they are happy with what they're doing. Regular placement reviews were arranged to gain feedback and to catch up on how you were doing
they definitely invested their time in me because i worked hard and had the potential to be a top performer which they could see therefore they trained me worked with me at my weak points and praised me for my good qualities
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
there's certainly a scope to move up in the company and potential future employment for myself i think would be quite high as i worked hard and did my work.
The Culture
yes i made some of my best friends alongside other placement students, one of which i lived with for the year
not too expensive, going out and doing activities was averagely priced just like general towns/cities in the UK.
nightlife is good lots of different choices and places you could choose from
yes lots, the company provides many outside work events with employees
