The Role
I really enjoyed the placement and I definitely left which a much better idea of what buying is about.
They were really welcoming. I was pleased to be given a project which would be of use to them after I had left.
I always had to ask for support but when I did, people were very helpful.
This varied throughout the placement. Towards the end I was much busier.
I was given full responsibility for my project and I had to arrange meetings with many different people in order to collect the information I needed.
They probably won't be of use in my degree but I have learnt many skills which will be useful for jobs in the future. I have also gained an insight into working life which will be helpful which I need to find a job for after university.
The Company
People often went for drinks after work. Everyone was very friendly and made lots of cups of tea!

The Culture
Yes we regularly went out for drinks/dinner together! The HR were really helpful in putting us in touch with placement students in different departments.
London was expensive but people were still fairly sociable. We generally went for dinner/drinks with the other interns once a week. A lot of the other interns were commuting for just outside London so we rarely stayed out too late!
My experience of the nightlife in London has been through being a student here rather than through the placement.
No not really.
