The Role
A great place if you are willing to embrace the culture and ethics of Sainsbury's as a company. I have been able to network within the business and the people I work with have been really receptive and trusting of me.
All really respected me and wanted to help me whereever they could with both my own development and the projects I was involved in.
Weekley review meetings and always able to make time to work with me.
As i began to prove myself within the department i was given more responsibility and towards the end I really felt my projects were adding value to the company.
Everything I was doing was helpful towards the company although the majority of the work was internal so if it hadn't been done there would not have been too many issues.
I really felt enhanced by the opportunities that I was given and if you are willing to embrace the company and be proactive you will be able to gain alot.
The Company
For the reputations of IT people it was great. With sports that you could get involved in and other placements to go out with.
Able to attend training sessions just the issue of planning them into your diary.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
The Culture
Ye really good atmosphere like minded people. Great nights out.
It is expensive. You really need to know the places to go within London!
A few pubs and bars but really quiet after 9 need to move further out to get more. Only a tube stop away though.
While I have been here for 8 weeks I have been involved in football with 2 teams and rounders. There were opportunties you just needed to be proactive and find them.
