The Role
The internship has been a fantastic opportunity to build new skills and develop personally and professionally.
The other members of my team supported me everyday and always showed their appreciation for my work.
I was given great and constant support by my line manager, internship manager and mentor. I also received advice and support anytime I needed by other colleagues, both within my team and from other teams.
The amount of work varied very much. I was working on different tasks, so most of the time I was fairly busy, but never overwhelmed. Whenever I had a little less to do and felt the risk of getting bored, it was enough to offer my help to be involved in new things.
I was given responsibility beyond what I imagined. I was always supervised and support was available anytime, but I also had a lead role on most of the projects I have been involved in.
Personal and professional skills I developed will surely help me for my future career.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office and in the team was great, although people can be quite busy at times. Everybody was always very nice and happy to have a chat
The internship was organised very well. The focus was primarily on my personal and professional development.
I received great training from my managers and colleagues. I also managed to attend a workshop for employees, but it is usually very hard to reserve a place in these events (and they're usually just for paid staff)
Flexi Time
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
During my internship I applied for some internal vacancies and right after my internship I was offered a position in the organisation.
The Culture
I met most of the other interns just on the first and last days. There wasn't much socialising organised for all interns, although I managed to socialise myself with a few.
London - so it was expensive, but not more expensive than anywhere else in the city
Don't know, not interested
There were a lot of opportunities to take part in events and activities, even in other departments.
