The Role
I absolutely loved interning at Macmillan Cancer Support - I worked with the Donor Stewardship and Special Events Team who organise the big fundraisers for high net-worth individuals. A Macmillan internship is not being the grunt and doing the coffee run for people, you are given real respect and responsibility with so many opportunities to learn and gain amazing experience. Brilliant team to work with and a fantastic charity. It was a real privilege to be part of it, I can't recommend a Macmillan internship highly enough.
