The Role
It has been a good mix and a very good insight into life in the industry.
People don't hesitate to ask me to do important tasks.
As much as I needed to hit the ground running.
Being busy isn't a bad thing - it's much better than being bored.
Communicating with suppliers and customers is extremely important as you represent the company to those people.
Regardless of what I go on to do after this placement, the skills leaned here have taught me a lot about the work place, industry, work ethics, responsibility and much more.
The Company
Very good people working here, a note-able comment was by a foreign colleague who said he felt extremely welcome working here from the first day and was surprised how good everybody was to him irrespective of where he was from.
There haven't been any issues so far.
It's very good that they do invest time to teaching us skills, even though they may not see the fruits of their investment.
National Travel
International Travel
Very good (I hope), a very nice collection of people.
The Culture
Good, there are plenty of company paid celebrations, including Christmas and company successes, as well as regular social events with everybody. Many clubs and hobbies continue outside the work place.
I live at home.
It's not London but it can be a good laugh.
Lots of interesting people doing lots of interesting things.
