The Role
I really enjoyed it, everyone was very helpful. They answered all my questions punctually and helped me progress where I could.
I felt very valued as i had a lot of tasks with high importance. There was always help there if i needed it too!
i received a lot of support and guidance from day one. Literally everyone was so helpful!
The work that i done was very hot and cold. There would be very busy periods and very quiet periods.
As mentioned before I had a lot of responsibility's and a lot of tasks with high importance
I have built upon a lot of skills. Mainly organisation and handling responsibilities. I have also become much greater at multi-tasking.
The Company
The atmosphere is very relaxed. Everyone is very nice and helpful
It was very organised. They had great desk instructions to follow for certain periods of the month.
This placement taught me a lot of new skills as well as building upon such skills as punctuality and organisation.
Sports and Social Club
Above 25 days holiday
Very appealing as the pay in Visteon is above most other companies. Also the opportunities with a place like Visteon on your CV are endless.
The Culture
The placement students were all very nice and very out going but the social scene was very poor.
Chelmsford is quite expensive to live in with the rent per month being anywhere between £330-£470. The night life is okay at best.
The night life is very underwhelming with only 3 clubs and 1 of them being okay at best.
There were quite a few activities throughout the year, but nothing overly exciting.
