  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Fantastic experience, would thoroughly recommend to anyone interested in Project management. Interesting work, great help from colleagues and learnt a lot!

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • My manager was fantastic, gave me the perfect blend of independence and guidance. The work I was given also had real value, which helps to make you feel that you are really part of the team and not just there to be looked after.

  • Manager had weekly meetings with me, and was in constant contact throughout the day. Couldn't have asked for more!

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Always had work to be doing, perhaps first two weeks were slightly quieter but that was useful as allowed me to bed in.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Was allowed to manage project as I wanted to, and didn't feel micromanaged at all.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Only been back at university for 2 weeks, but found myself managing my time much better this year.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Very relaxed, open and fun. Really cool office design, and senior managers on same floor so didn't feel like a hierarchy. Social events and coffee breaks also built good team spirit.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Loads of events to build team spirit, clear plans and deadlines for work and speaker series organised so senior leaders could come to speak to us.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Was given regular progress reports to let me know my strengths and areas to improve on, and a big evaluation mid way and at the end of the programme. .

  • Lived with 4 other interns and we went out regularly.

  • Expensive! South East + tourist town.

  • Really good, lots to do and see + London not far away.

  • I didn't investigate many, but lots of groups to join offered to us.
