I worked in a team of 5 interns where we followed SCRUM techniques. We had daily stands ups, created features stories, planned and retrospected our sprints (2 weeks). We also demoed our progress alongside the senior teams at the end of the sprints. We were encouraged to contribute our perspectives and work just as any other team. In addition, we working using technologies such as Spring Boot, Jenkins and Gatling.

Project management. Regular meeting with various stakeholders across the company involving high senior colleagues, such as country and departmental managers. Keen eye for detail in analysis of business data and an understanding of business requirements are useful. Excel Skills very useful
I would have regular meetings with my managers and colleagues, work on my project while receiving feedback and would also reach out to other colleagues for help with my project if they were knowledgeable in the area. There were frequent campus sessions where we learned about senior employees, their role in the company and got advice for how we should work and what we should do to establish our career. I also was encouraged to do external research for my project to gain perspective of what was done outside the company for my project.
My role is to review the Business & Travel Accounts portfolios across Europe, this is a key portfolio for Credit however we see inconsistencies in processes and policies which we would like to align. We are also looking to identify key development opportunities for each market and have a clear understanding on the debt. To achieve this goals I have daily meetings with all BTA Teams, research and many brainstorming sessions to come up with the best opportunities. Also, there are many interactions with other departments to make changes happen through communication and work.
1. Liaising with business units and compliance officers to understand the process being tested 2. Plan the review, e.g. identify its scope, applicable regulations/company policies 3. Gather cases to test 4. Conduct the test (typically via transactional testing) 5. Other secondary duties, e.g. re-writing testing manuals, preparing and presenting "knowledge shares"
My primary role is working on my project which involves creating a headcount tracker for GCS international that can updated on a monthly basis. This involves collating various data sources and contacting various different business units to ensure the data is up to date etc.
My role is to support the Merchant Consultation team as well as complete two projects I have been assigned which help the Merchant Marketing team achieve their goals. Day to day, I network with colleagues in the business, complete actions which help complete my project such as working with an agency, submitting forms for approvals, and data analysis. I connect and align with stakeholders that have an impact on my project, as well as networking to find out more about the business, and to get to know colleagues and fellow interns.
I'm working on 4 projects which I am responsible for the progress of. I am also currently constructing my end of internship presentation, which I work on for 1-2 hours a day. I usually have daily meetings with other members of my close team and once/twice a week meet externally with the Cobrand Partner or a creative Agency.
I am placed in a team with four other interns and we are working collaboratively to develop an application from scratch that will be used internally within the company. I have stand-ups with my team on a day-to-day basis, and I spend a few hours everyday working on the project. I also have frequent speaker series I go to, social events organised by the campus team and other events that give us an insight into the company.
