Overview
Working in a SCRUM team on an intern project creating an API (backend and front end). Supported by the wider team
Skills
Learnt many new programming languages and testing techinqiues. Also massively improved my confidnce with talking to industry level professionals.
Responsibilities
Yes, as an intern team we had to create a project which will then be used in the wider team. We had to arrange meetings on our own, reach out to the wider team if we were stuck etc. It was great!
Support & Guidance
Weekly 1to1s with my manager, a slack channel to reach out to the wider team, the campus recruitment team were also there for any non-techincal questions! it was great
Culture
Everyone was super supportive and willing to help and chat! it felt very welcoming and not scary at all
