  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I was given a wide range of activities to get involved with and therefore developed a number of really useful skills.

  • Very much so, always encouraged and made to feel like part of the team.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Always able to go to my manager for support and reassurance so I never felt alone despite it being home based.

  • There was always something to do however sometimes work would be more urgent than other times.

  • Trusted to go out into the community, meeting with a number of supporters and businesses and represent Macmillan.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Allowed me to gain some great skills and confidence which have seen me through to paid graduate employment.

  • N/A home based

  • I couldn't say it was necessarily organised or set up but was more spontaneous.

  • They gave me a lot of opportunities to develop but I didn't receive any formal training however this was necessary.
