  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • My internship with Macmillan has been such a fantastic experience, not only have I enjoyed it but I have seen everything that goes on behind the scenes and how much Macmillan help people in so many ways.

    • They were all incredibly friendly and supportive and provided me with the best help.

    • My manager was so lovely! I was looked after at all times and if I needed support or reassurance I was always given this immediately

    • On the days i was working I did have things to do constantly

    • I was given as much as I needed, however, i never felt like an intern I was treated like a colleague

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Everyone was incredibly friendly whenever I went to the office, as previously mentioned, i was treated like a colleague and not an intern.

    • As I was unable to attend the induction day there was little training

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • I had the opportunities however, I live too far away to have taken part, I spoke to some via email and they were very supportive and friendly

    • I didn't meet up as I live too far away, but my area of living isn't too expensive
