  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I was given work responsibilities from day 1.

  • I was treated as a colleague, not a "short-term intern".

  • I was well-supported, and my supervisor was always approachable and helpful.

  • I always had a task that I could work on, was never bored, and it was always ensured that I did not have a workload that was too high.

  • From the first day onwards, I was trusted with the tasks I was involved in.

  • Working in a different setting (charity) will be helpful.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Perfect work environment -- never dull/quiet/boring, but also a great environment to focus on work.

  • From day 1 I was surprised how well everything was organised.

  • I was assigned a mentor who is very helpful in mapping out the future career path and most importantly, what actions are required to take.

  • They are appealing, although I did not apply as I would like to diversify my work experience in another sector/different charity area.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There was a social committee only for interns (organised by interns).

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • This is London, but there are lots of cheaper places for food around etc.

  • There are some pubs in the area.

  • We went for project meals as a team.
