The Role
I was given work responsibilities from day 1.
I was treated as a colleague, not a "short-term intern".
I was well-supported, and my supervisor was always approachable and helpful.
I always had a task that I could work on, was never bored, and it was always ensured that I did not have a workload that was too high.
From the first day onwards, I was trusted with the tasks I was involved in.
Working in a different setting (charity) will be helpful.
The Company
Perfect work environment -- never dull/quiet/boring, but also a great environment to focus on work.
From day 1 I was surprised how well everything was organised.
I was assigned a mentor who is very helpful in mapping out the future career path and most importantly, what actions are required to take.
Flexi Time
Working from home
They are appealing, although I did not apply as I would like to diversify my work experience in another sector/different charity area.
The Culture
There was a social committee only for interns (organised by interns).
This is London, but there are lots of cheaper places for food around etc.
There are some pubs in the area.
We went for project meals as a team.
