The Role
I enjoyed it very much. The lessons learnt, the stories heard and the people I met all made for a very good summer's work.
They respected my other commitments and gave me a good amount of work to do which I was able to manage.
Unless they were really busy they would answer my questions in a few days. And whenever they gave me a task they would ensure I was happy with it.
It was quiet towards the beginning but has got busier since then. I think for a 3/4 day internship I was just the right level of work.
Lots of responsibility. I helped coordinate the World' Biggest Coffee Morning in my region. I went on the radio, organised high value donors and MPs.
They have given me confidence mainly. Confidence to communicate with people and know my figures before presenting.
The Company
There wasn't an office- remote working
It was reasonably well organised. The structure of Macmillan meant World's Biggest Coffee Morning wasn't 100% suited to regional interns. And IT was a big problem. But it fitted well around my life.
A lot! Bordering on too much. They put a lot of time and financial resources into me. I'm worried I took too much, I think I need to work for them to start making some of it back.
Flexi Time
Working from home
Very. Not regionally though, I'd love to work in UKO if I was ever given the opportunity.
The Culture
There was but being 4/5 hours away from Socials, I was unable to attend.

There were a couple, but as I say, they were too far from me.
