The Role
It was a very worthwhile internship with great variety and friendly staff.
All members of staff were welcoming and helped to integrate me into the team
I was provided with an adviser and a mentor to help me with my time at Macmillan
There were plenty of tasks to be completed on a daily basis, with great variety
I was given a large amount of responsibility with tasks that had a big influence on the business.
I was able to tailor the internship to my wants and meant that I was able to develop the skills I wanted to
The Company
All the members of staff were welcoming and helped me to integrate as part of the team
There was structure to the internship, however in later week I was able to adapt the tasks undertaken to my skills
There were plenty of opportunities for training and development offered to me throughout the internship
Company Parties/Events
I would like to work as part of Macmillan in the future
The Culture
There were social gatherings on offer with fellow interns, however these were only in London which made them difficult to attend from a regional office
It was relatively cheap wit plenty of shops close by.
N/A
There were some opportunities available with Macmillan to get involved with events
