  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • It was a very worthwhile internship with great variety and friendly staff.

    • All members of staff were welcoming and helped to integrate me into the team

    • I was provided with an adviser and a mentor to help me with my time at Macmillan

    • There were plenty of tasks to be completed on a daily basis, with great variety

    • I was given a large amount of responsibility with tasks that had a big influence on the business.

    • I was able to tailor the internship to my wants and meant that I was able to develop the skills I wanted to

    • All the members of staff were welcoming and helped me to integrate as part of the team

    • There was structure to the internship, however in later week I was able to adapt the tasks undertaken to my skills

    • There were plenty of opportunities for training and development offered to me throughout the internship

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • There were social gatherings on offer with fellow interns, however these were only in London which made them difficult to attend from a regional office

    • It was relatively cheap wit plenty of shops close by.
