The Role
Great place to work.
Majority of colleagues are extremely supportive and believe you are capable of doing your job.
Support was fantastic. I had weekly meetings to make sure I was getting on OK with my project and in general. I was able to ask for more support whenever but they did not mollycoddle at all.
I was asked to support other projects as well as my own. I was able to do this in my own time and so filled any patches during the day when my project work was light. We had other internship objectives and there was always opportunities to do extra work if needed.
I had ownership of my own project to plan and implement to deliver the final objective that was given by my line manager. Support was provided and I facilitated and ran my own meetings. I also helped with other projects and had the freedom to complete this in my own time, indicating that I was accountable for completing my section.
I developed interpersonal skills significantly which will help in life. Nothing extremely specific to my degree but I gained a lot of business experience which is extremely helpful for later employment.
The Company
Serious about work but very very relaxed and fun. Great office space and everyone I met was approachable and a supportive. Lunch times were very sociable and ample opportunities to socialise after work.
My personal experience was great. Although some areas could be improved it really didn't affect my overall opinion of the internship. It was great and well structured with a fantastic orientation week to prep us before we joined are individual teams.
A week's orientation which included: personal development days, introductions to each of the departments, intern bonding exercises and a trip to the Lloyd's of London building.

Company Parties/Events
I really enjoyed the department I was in and my particular job role. It is not guaranteed that there is capacity in this area for a graduate.
The Culture
We got along really well and spent the majority of lunch hours together and spent one night out a week as a team of interns. At the beginning, after work drinks were set up to meet the graduates and allowed us to organise further gatherings etc.
It's London. Expensive but so many places to go out.
It's London!!!
It's London! We also organised a few cheap nights/dinner etc out as an intern group.
