The Role
I enjoyed it very much, I was never bored.
From the moment I started I felt a part of the team, everyone was welcoming.
Both my manager and my mentor were very supportive, and encourgaed me to devlop my skills more. Other members of the team I worked in were also very supportive.
On most days, I had a lot of work and it was very busy. But there were a few odd days where I had finished my work and didn't know what to do with myself.
I was given a moderate amount of responsibilty which I expected.
As I am doing an events management degree this internship was perfect as it is an event marketing internship. This is an area I would like to go into when I graduate and my dissertation will be on the promotion of events.
The Company
It's very calm and relaxed. It's not stressful or intimidating and I felt at ease.
It was vey organised, a lot of the paper work was already done for me when I arrived (this includes setting up an expense account and mentoring forms). If I needed to book a meeting it was vey easy to do from my computer and the admin team are very organised when it came to booking train tickets and meetings.
A lot of the training was online but if I needed help I was given it very easily.

Working from home
It is very appealing as it would be interesting to work in head office in the future, however I would like to try work in other sectors to see the difference.
The Culture
Yes, the other intern in the office was very nice and easy to get along with.
Moderatly well.
None, the nearest area to go out would be Cardiff.
Not really for regional interns as majority of activities and socials were in London and it is a long way to just go for a few hours.
