The Role
Really enjoyed the placement, had a lot of responsibility.
Very, was often asked to take part in projects and designs.
Excellent manager, who really helped during the placement when needed.
Usually busy with interesting projects, very occasionally bored.
I was the mechanical engineer a live project for a customer, and had a mentor whom I could ask for advice.
Learnt how to deal with people more effectively, present, and improve my engineering skills.
The Company
Really good atmosphere, often fun.
Good organisation, with training courses provided.
Went on training courses and was sent abroad to our factory to help support projects.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Would be a good place to get a job in the future.
The Culture
We often went on nights out and met up for drinks with colleagues and students.
Housing was reasonably expensive.
Good, but could have been better. Luckily we were close to london.
There are several groups doing volunteering and charity work.
