  • An excellent place to work, with a business that looks after their employees.

  • Colleagues here are very much a team and will often go out of their way to help you directly or point you in the right direction.

  • Frequent informal reviews of work and process helped me evaluate how I go about my work and why. What can be improved and what was working well.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I've been busy, but haven't struggled with the workload. Once all the reactive tasks are complete there is always room for proactive improvement, with the freedom and encouragement to do so.

  • I was given tasks, helped on projects and were even given my own to run. A full variety with enough responsibility to progress professionally but never feeling too out of my depth.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • This placement has given me business insight that I didn't know I was missing. Prepared me for the future and even informed of all the different areas I could go into with my degree. It will certainly prove invaluable with final year approaching.

  • Relaxed with a good work/social balance.

  • With a copious amount of material on the company intranet and an easily approachable manager, I was never confused.

  • with a section of the office being a University the training facilities are excellent. With internal and external trainers they really do encourage your personal and professional development.

  • There is always the chance to work with them, however possibly on a contractor basis.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • With many of the students living together, there's always something happening. Frequent social events are planned. Although I commute in and couldn't always attend these, I never felt like an outsider when I did attend.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Due to the wage provided everything was manageable and affordable. This was especially helped by a reduced in office gym and meal options at lunch.

  • A few local pubs were the catalyst for night-life.
