The Role
8 - I really enjoyed my placement, the contacts I have gained and overall enthusiasm they gave me to gain knowledge. I feel I am much more employable than before placement.
10 - Very valued - given roles when staff weren't available and stepped in to complete them jobs.
8 - I was given a lot of support throughout placement, the link of having the other PYF students and McDonalds if you needed them.
I was mainly busy on a daily basis but there was times where work was limited and you had to say you needed work to do or you would be bored. I longer I was on placement the more roles and responsibilities I was given.
I was given a lot of reasonability with different roles and jobs.
It is the first time I have worked within a company and my first experience has been very successful to the point I don't want to go back home...!
The Company
Nice atmosphere - very welcoming instantly
Not overally well organised but the setup of the placement and industry it can't be that well organised.
No specific training but overall learnt the whole company.
I would return to the company if a job was offered to me.
The Culture
No other placement students but overall felt very welcomed.
A perk was I didn't have to pay for housing rent, a accommodation come with the job.
Rural placement - joined local clubs
YFC, hiking etc
