The Role
endless new interesting projects to get involved in
instantly helped me to find my feet and contribute to the team
hugely supportive towards learn new skills, many self developement oppotunities too
always something to get involved with
responsibilities grew as the intership progressed
learned more in 1 year on placement than i did from 2 years at university
The Company
very different atmosphere compared to previous work in retail and warehouse as office work allows alot more relax time, breaks as and when you need them, a good work hard play hard environment
was a slight issue with HR before the intership began so delayed the start date, this made it a little more difficult to get up to speed with other interns but great support from the team
10/10, HP provide self development study days and a vast range of different training resources to help you, including skills that arn't part of your working field.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
Healthcare from home
have a part time job as a contingent worker for HP contractor company N-able during final year study as university.
The Culture
socialed with a few other interns of the year during work hours and lunch breaks, including playing table tennis. also a few nights out.
depending on where you go, Bristol can be an expensive city for nights out.
Lived in Bristol all my life so already aware of the available night life, however this could make me slightly biased when compared to someone thats never been to Bristol.
A new email event almost everyday inviting me to partake.
