  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I enjoyed the environment and team i worked with however felt the office tasks were possibly not best suited to my personality.

    • I was frequently thanked for the work i had done and praised when i did something well.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • The team i worked with were very supportive and always keen to try and help me get the most of out my experience. They were always offering to help me get in touch with other staff members in different departments

    • Sometimes did not feel like there was much work for me to do/ i was getting in the way.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • Basic tasks day to day however i might have felt out of my depth with more responsibility but equally that would have been a positive learning experience.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I learnt useful basic tasks which i had not done before which will be able to apply to a variety of different job settings.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Really friendly colleagues however very quiet and sometimes found myself bored. This is no reflection on the team though!

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?

    • Frequently given opportunity to provide feedback but sometimes got the impression the team were struggling to find jobs for me to do.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • Very open to providing me with new opportunities and always encouraged me to explore other areas of the company and meet new people. Were very accomodating in making sure i could attend all the events with the interns in the London office even though i am based in York.

    • Everyone i met within the organisation were very friendly and seemed like a positive team to be part of.

    • yes friendly and often being invited to events
