The Role
I enjoyed the environment and team i worked with however felt the office tasks were possibly not best suited to my personality.
I was frequently thanked for the work i had done and praised when i did something well.
The team i worked with were very supportive and always keen to try and help me get the most of out my experience. They were always offering to help me get in touch with other staff members in different departments
Sometimes did not feel like there was much work for me to do/ i was getting in the way.
Basic tasks day to day however i might have felt out of my depth with more responsibility but equally that would have been a positive learning experience.
I learnt useful basic tasks which i had not done before which will be able to apply to a variety of different job settings.
The Company
Really friendly colleagues however very quiet and sometimes found myself bored. This is no reflection on the team though!
Frequently given opportunity to provide feedback but sometimes got the impression the team were struggling to find jobs for me to do.
Very open to providing me with new opportunities and always encouraged me to explore other areas of the company and meet new people. Were very accomodating in making sure i could attend all the events with the interns in the London office even though i am based in York.
Everyone i met within the organisation were very friendly and seemed like a positive team to be part of.
The Culture
yes friendly and often being invited to events
