The Role
Really great experience working for such a prestigious charity!
Everybody was really friendly and always willing to help. Networking was really emphasised at Macmilllan.
I always had help when i needed it, and had regular catch ups with my managers.
Varied on a day to day basis, depending on what projects i had on at the time.
I was given the responsibility of helping to orgainise a Macmillan Healthy Eating Course!
The skills i will take away will help me in my Events Management degree. I have developed my organisation skills, planning skills and also have had to think creativly.
The Company
Could vary. Some days the office was empty which allowed for quiet working whereas other times it could be hard to find a desk.
I always new what tasks needed to be completed.
My mentor was very helpful, she gave me help with developibng skills i wanted to work on.

The Culture
Didn't live near the other interns as i commuted from Cardiff.
I didnt live in pencoed, i commuted from Cardiff.
Pencoed is very small.
