The Role
I enjoyed the challenge, and being able to work on a project (World's Biggest Coffee Morning) from start to finish. It meant you could have more personal ownership on the project.
I was always well supported, as it was difficult through working from home a lot. I found that most of the team I worked with were extremely grateful and thankful for my input.
I always was aware that my team were just a phonecall away. They ensured that I was happy with my work load, and ensured that I was enjoying my placement.
I was given plenty of challenges, and felt enough to keep myself busy. Not too much so I wasn't worried on my days off.
I was given plenty of ownership, and was allowed to in control which I loved.
I feel this internship has prepared me for my future career. It has taught me a lot of skills and I now feel more confident in my future plans!
The Company
This is a difficult question to answer as I was working from home alot. But whether I was in the local fundraising office I loved the atmosphere, everyone is extremely friendly and approachable.
Very well organised.
I was placed on numerous courses which helped my internship and will be extremely useful for my future career,
Working from home
Healthcare/Dental
I feel I now know more about Macmillan Cancer Support and how to climb up the ladder there!
The Culture
N/A Being quite spread about it wasn't possible to make a social scene,
It was difficult with the internship being unpaid.
Wasn't as a part of the internship.
I was always told about other events that were happening within Macmillan.
